An original glove for "jeu de ball tamis" game. (19th century) To the right a racket with extreme asymetrical lob (circa 1870s) with original sheepskin leather as grip. Incised on the throat are elephants and crowns. Very early tilt-top racquets racket (a tennis related sport), circa 1860s. Racquets racket display with a sterling silver trophy awarded for winning the championships of the United States in 1905. |
